Get paid to train as a nurse - nursing careers

Student nurses taking the Diploma in Nursing or the Diploma in Midwifery receive a guaranteed tax free bursary every month. As if this wasn ’t good enough they also pay no tuition fees!

We are the Florence Nightingale School of Nursing and Midwifery, a part of Kings College London. Based at Waterloo in the very heart of the capital we train nurses and midwives from all over the world and especially those from London and the South East.

Our role from the very beginning is to select those applicants who have the necessary skills to be professional nurses.
We only take 1 applicant out of every 4 who applies however, those that are successful come from all backgrounds, all areas and with all levels of academic achievement.
The starting requirement is 5 GCSE’s at grade C or equivalent.

The campus at Waterloo is brand new and ‘state of the art’ offering a superb learning environment. The student nurses who come to the School will also be spending a large part of their course working within our partner NHS Trusts. These Trusts include some of the finest and most prestigious hospitals in the world, which always looks good on a CV!

If you think you have what it takes and would like to know more about Nurse training then ask us to send you one of our prospectuses which will tell you all you need to know or check out the website at
